now iam using gtx 1050ti but its not enough for todays gaming soo i need to upgrade to gtx 1060 6gb will i be able to use both gpu in ga ab320m gaming 3 board...?

No, you would use one at a time for most purposes. SLI is another option using to similar models of Nvidia graphics cards. But that wouldn't apply to those two cards.

Some mining setups can use dissimilar graphics cards, I don't think that is what you are intending.

Explicit Multi-GPU with DirectX 12 will somewhat work with any combination of GPU's but it only works in DX12 and the list of Titles that have adopted it is low. From what I have read EMG works best with an AMD and Nvidia card of about the same level combined and I could see a 1050 TI and 1060 giving a slight boost over just the 1060 alone. I remember reading a review where they combined two 1060 6GB and the FPS was better than a 1080 in Ashes of Singularity but it wasn't without its issues.

It is for SLI or Crossfire use. You can use them for other cards as well. And it gives you another slot for the graphics card if the primary one fails.

Yes. The only one you can't use in those slots is PCI . (There is AGP too, but you asren't likely to run into those.)

That is called explicit multi gpu that runs through the pcie bus instead of using sli bridges. It was to be a promising DX12 feature which you could marry any gpu of different brand and even different models from the same vendor, ie 1070+1080 or 1080+Vega 64. That was the idea but support for it hasn't gained much traction. Vulkan IP (OpenGL successor) was said to have support for mgpu as well.

Officially the ball isn't rolling much with mgpu at this point in time but there is likely promise. Unofficially, using modified drivers is possible but do at your own risk because as this video explains there are some draw backs.

He explains it well so listen to all of it.
