please help monitor goes black for one sec

One of 2 of my monitors both running on same brand new gpu(1080ti), keeps randomly going black for a second. Its completley random, sometimes 10 min between black, sometimes 5 seconds between. It always lasts one second, and always only on one monitor. I know my card isnt overheating because afterburner shows its always between 37-47 degrees during gameplay. (its watercooled). I know its not drivers, i just downloaded a new driver. Everywhere I read they suggest overheating, so is it possible for gpu sensors to be wrong? Im not even sure where the sensor is located. Could it be power? I just bought a new powersupply, 1300 Gold. What else can cause this?

in the gpu video drivers make sure it set to muilt monitor and power savings is off same for windows power management. it may be trying to power off the second monitor.

So I changed my HDMI cord, I also plugged it into a seperate port in my TV, I changed the power settings in windows from power saver to max preformance, and also changed power setting in nvdia control panel to max performance, and lastly, I changed pre rendered frames to 3. So I have no idea which of those solved it, but one of them did.
