PLEASE HELP - My bespoke software gets corrupt my time to time.

Hi guys/girls.

I have had bespoke software made and the have lost contact with the programmer.

So what happens is that the software sometimes gets corrupt and so has to be installed again from fresh. Sometimes the data within the software also gets corrupt.

Currently the pc is running windows 7 with no service pack installed.

It has avast, malware bytes, zonealarm and easeus backup software installed (to back up the data from the bespoke software). - The backup software is ran every 30 minutes. The data usually only get corrupt at the end of the night when the software is closed.

Sometimes what also happens is that the data gets corrupt (because the data files all get edited at the same time, so i know they are then corrupt) but then the software allows access to the database, only when it is closed can the data not be accessed.

The programmer did use windows 8 whilst working on the bespoke software.

how old is the pc? could be the hdd is failing.

pc is new about 6 months old.

I have made two identical ones and the problems occurs with them both.

Both have the same parts.

Maybe it is getting corrupt during a backup. Certainly once a day would suffice...

Hi have checked that and it doesn't corrupt the data whilst it is getting backed up.

And the backup is only done of the data folder not the softwares folder.
