Im an looking to get a gaming rig but know little about them. i found this one at my local store and was wondering if it was a good choice? i only play RTS games. Mostly the Total War Series. So lets say would it be able to handle ROME 2? or Attila? Im just really lost and there is too many options. and by handle i mean play on its highest settings. http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX55677

I don't see the value in that, you'd save ~$200 if you built it yourself and put that difference to a better graphics card. The graphics seems a little on the weak side to me although I'm fairly sure you could get some enjoyable gaming out of it

While the concept of putting together a PC yourself may seem a little intimidating, there is little that you can do wrong (there are a few things but proper precautions negate those) - this video (although 4 years old) is a very good guide (IMO) to what is involved in assembling a PC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_56kyib-Ls - the only real requirements are; the ability follow instructions, to plug an object into a slot and the ability to use a screwdriver, most people already have those skills.
