So I've been having a very weird issue regarding my PC. I run a Dell Optiplex 7010 with an i5-3570 that I've upgraded to have 16gb of ram (4x 4 ddr3 exactly the same dimms) an rx 570 and a 450 insignia PSU (i know insignia but its what i had on hand) I've been using this rig for a while now without any problems. I received a new PC case and decided to put my hardware in there (before you say that is a very hard task I know I built a system very very similar to this for a friend and managed to install it in a new case just required making some front panel adapters, same mother board) So this was a fairly easy task i swapped all the parts and ordered some part to solder a adapter but in the meantime just stripped the front panel wires from the original case and plugged them into the power button. This all worked without any problems but I noticed in windows one of my 4 drives (2 SSDs 2 HDDs) was not showing up. I swapped the sata cables of the HDDs and the other HDD showed up now but not the original, so i though this was a cable problem. I swapped the "faulty" sata cable and tried again. This sata cable performed exactly the same as the other. I started rearranging drives in sata ports to see if that would change anything to no avail and eventually went into the bios and looked at my drives. Sata3 was not enabled so I enabled it and in the bios all my drives showed up but when I booted into windows now only 2 drives showed up. This has me taken aback I unplugged all but my boot drive and to my surprise I no longer had any video output.
Part 2 the real problem
Note: normally when I turn on my PSU my PC power cylces (I've read its to charge capacitors) and then I am able to press the power switch and boot
So now with no output turning on my PSU results in the powersupply powering all my components and not turning off to let me hit the power switch (again displaying nothing) I attempted to take out all but one stick of ram which resulted in a power cycle loop when the PSU is turned on. It being 1am I was tired and had work so I pulled the cmos battery out and went to sleep. At work I grabed a VGA cable and just now at lunch went home put the cmos battery back in and nothing had changed. Still got exactly the same results with and without all the RAM installed. VGA made no difference. I'm really out of ideas now so thats why im asking here. Hopefully someone can help me fix this because I can't afford a new motherboard/CPU (If i had to replace the mobo it wouldnt be worth it to get another 1155 mobo so id have to upgrade)
I appreciate anyone who took the time to read this and thanks in advance
