Hi Guys,
I need a good mid-range system for general use and casual gaming. I'm not a serious gamer. The only thing I would probably play on it would be Sims 2 and 3 and their respective expansion packs (don't laugh--I'm a girl!). I want the best GPU I can get within my budget so I can run the games on the highest settings with no problems.
I'm stuck on an Intel/Nvidia system with XP-pro. I don't necessarily need a quad core, I think a duo would be fine for my purposes. I'm not putting it together myself, just acquiring the parts.
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: (the closer the better) BUDGET RANGE: (example: US$1000-1100)
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: (surfing the internet, gaming, watching movies)
PARTS NOT REQUIRED:
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com
PARTS PREFERENCES: by brand or type-- See Above
OVERCLOCKING: No SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe
MONITOR RESOLUTION: ?? - What do you think I need?
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Thanks for any help you can give me!
