Please help ! P5W HD Delux recognize memory as PC5300 !

Hi all.

I have the P5W HD Delux board and i installed the next memory :
OCZ 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 800Mhz Special Ops Edition Urban Elite
Somehow this motherboard is detects this memory as PC2-5300.
How it can be ? i made a bios update to 2004 and still nothing.
Can anyone help with configuration ?

Try setting the RAM timings & voltage manually.

The P5W DH out of the box is set for a CPU external frequency of 266MHZ and the FSB speed is 4 times that at 1066MHZ and the memory speed by default is twice that 533 MHZ . (PC5300) It doesn't recognize it reports it as running at PC5300 speed which with default settings it is.

You would have to raise your CPU external frequency to 400MHZ to have your memory
detected at PC6400 (800MHZ) or you could edit your Bios in set-up, Select
Advanced
Jumperfree configuration
Dram frequency ---- Change from Auto
And then you will be given the options to change your memory frequency.
