no hardcore gaming. ok, graphics card could come later if light gaming still wont fit the budget. thanks!

Anyway I will give it a try:

Monitor: Acer S201HLbd Black 20" 5ms LED-Backlight $99.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009256

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM $99.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986

Case: APEX PC-389-C Black Steel ATX Mid Tower $24.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154095

Mobo: ASRock H61M-VS LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX $54.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157241

CPU: Core i3 2100 LGA 1155 3.1GHz $99 (if you are near a microcenter) but this goes off budget...
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0359809
if not: Intel Pentium G620 Sandy Bridge 2.6GHz $69.99 (clocked at 2.6GHz and being a sandybridge makes it quite powerful, especially for gaming)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116399

RAM: G.SKILL NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 $22.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231396

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAKX 320GB $74.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136770

GPU: Use the processor's gpu til you got some more $ to spend for a gpu.

Optical: LG 22X Super-Multi DVD Burner $17.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136240

PSU: Antec VP-450 450W $39.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371045

Peripherals: Microsoft Desktop 400 5MH-00001 Black $19.00
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823109232

Total: $524.91 (or add +$29 if you are near a microcenter for the i3 and you want to spend more)

I tried to minimize the price as I could without quality loss.

:)

Edit: If you have an OS and/or an HDD we can suggest a far better pc.

Don't buy an i3 2100. It's dual core. Granted it games well but that's about all it's good at. A Phenom X4 would greatly out perform the i3 in everyday "real world" usage. If you do want to game any PII X4 2.8Ghz + Will be able to play any title available without issue.

Otherwise the build suggested above looks great (minus the i3/1155) Memnarchon sourced some great value parts for that build.

Also as stated get back to us what accessories will be needed such as (HDD,OS,Monitor, Keyboard/mouse)

@Memnarchon
thank for your suggestion
i think i would go with acer 18.5" led, sometimes i get dizzy with a large monitor infront of me.
i already have an OS (gift), Win7 HP. but still need to buy a 320gb or 500gb HDD.

@CMI86
i have spare KB and mouse, and OS. for the monitor, i would go for and 18.5" only.
other than PII X4 2.8Ghz, what other AMD and compatible motherboards can you suggest?

thank you all!

Hmm, I just noticed the "500gb" :p.

Then This thing changes the system a bit.
We can add a 500gb HDD plus a nice medium gaming gpu,

Monitor: Acer S201HLbd Black 20" 5ms LED-Backlight $99.99 or acer 18,5" should be similar or lower price.

So with sandybridge + 4GB RAM + HD6750, you will play games at (assuming like the 20,5" acer the 18,5" has 1600x900) medium/high settings.
