Hello all,
I have just got from my brother a MB MSI X570-A PRO (X570) and I just bought a new pc case(MSI MAG VAMPIRIC 010). And I am looking to upgrade my gaming rig.
My components are:
CPU: I7 6700k (4,2 ghz)
GPU: G1 gtx 1080
RAM: Corsair Vengance 2x8gb 3000mhz cl15
MB: Asus z170 hero alpha
HDD: 1x Seagate barracuda 1tb 7200 r.p.m
1x Seagate barrracida 3tb 5400 rpm
SDD: Adata su 800 128gb

  1. I want to switch to Ryzen 7 3700x and buy a nvme ssd ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO 1tb. Would you do the same, or you will upgrade something else?
  2. Are my rams ok for Ryzen 7?
  3. Have I buy something else except Cpu + nvme? What would you recommend me?

Thank you all for help

1)If all you do is game, then both of those are luxury purchases:
-Ryzen 3600 is good enough. Unless games magically start using 12+ threads, then a 3700X won't be any faster.
-There are more affordable SSDs available for no real loss in performance: Crucial P1 and MX500, WD Blue, and Intel 660p.

2)They're ok for now.

3)The included box cooler for Ryzen 3000 is hit or miss. Give it a chance, and if you aren't satisfied with it, then a new cooler is in order.
The case you just bought has a rather restrictive front panel. Expect higher gpu temps than usual.

The ram is ayt, but it helps to have a 3200mhz or 3600mhz when you have a ryzen cpu.
