Please Help - purchasing new laptop

Hello all-

I am in the market for a new laptop or ultrabook. I was previously looking at a MacBook Pro; however I have been told new PCs can be just as comparable and less expensive (obviously). I am not big into gaming, video editing, etc. I just need it to be reliable, fast, and decent amount of memory.

I have looked into the HP Envy Touch Smart Ultrabook.... Any thoughts? I really appreciate any suggestions, thank you everyone.

Ha true. Sorry... Well I just considered since I was looking at apple products anything less than that. I want decent quality as well though but nothing more than $1100. I know you pay for what you get. I wish I could be a complete tech savy girl bbuuttt I'm not ha.

Thats a LOT of money for a PC Laptop although not so much for an Ultrabook....

With no gaming, you should be able to get a VERY good lappy for that sort of money...

I am in the UK , so cannot help with specific laptops, but I am sure some of your countrymen will be along soon to help...
