CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) is an on-board, battery powered semiconductor chip inside computers that stores information.
Essentially the first thing that happens at startup where the information for your system goes thru POST.
You may have to clear CMOS either by removing the CMOS battery for 10mins or using the MB CMOS pins.

BSOD (Blue screen of Death) is where windows crashes due to poorly configured Windows, Corruption, or bad drivers and will generate a dump file for analysis.
:/ sad for me, well i read some details about ram that it is okay to put RAM that are different brand as long as it has the same mhz they "said". Sorry for im a noob at this things but can you specifically explain to me what is a cmos and bsod?? ty a lot, guess this is a lesson learned from me
