Please help setting up duel monitors.

I am trying to set up another monitor but the HDMI port does not seem to be working, I have been using DVI for 1 monitor. I have a GTX 770 2GB

- Make sure all cables are connected to the GPU (not into your motherboard!)
- See what your monitor says (No input / going to sleep, or No cable connected)
- Install the latest drivers from Nvidia's site
- Check in NVidia Control Panel wheter it sees the monitor (In the control panel you can enable/disable certain monitors)

If that checks out, you're pretty safe at your GPU's side

You could also check if another computer/laptop can access the monitor through that cable. Or boot the PC with only the HDMI monitor connected. Just to make sure the cable and monitor are working properly

I got them both working, but now the one with the HDMI hook up keeps blinking the screen on and off.

Can you be more specific on what you've tried so far?

I have made sure the wires are not loose, restarted, and went into the display settings, I am getting some static and streaks as well.

Try different displays with the same cable / port or try other cables to determine what which part is the real problem
