Please help video issues with hdmi

Just got a Asus Geforce GTX 650ti which seems to run fine plugged to my 32" 720p tv with a VGA cable. But I wanna run it off the hdmi and it did briefly then i restarted my comp. And now VGA is all that works and when i plug in my hdmi cable all video stops working. Untill I remove the hdmi cord which allows VGA signal to start up again. I have the latest drivers. My appreciation in advanced for any help.

If you have both the VGA and HDMI connected at the same time, try removing the VGA connection. Just use the HDMI. And be sure your TV is set to the correct HDMI input.

Did that and tried all resolutions the card gives me. Still no luck

Troubleshooting from afar is hard to do, but I would first try a different HDMI cable. And be sure to leave the VGA cable disconnected during the troubleshooting.

You could also try this: If you can manage to get a display with the Nvidia card, uninstall the gfx driver again. Run Driver Sweeper from Safe Mode (F8) and have it remove any Nvidia, AMD, and ATI graphic driver remnants it finds. Reboot and install the correct driver for your card and O/S.
