Please help! Win 7 will not boot.

Ok so my friends windows boots into the windows boot manager. "windows fail to start" Status: 0xc000000f.

I have tried reinstalling windows by selecting to boot off the disk but whatever we do we always end up at the same screen, Any ideas?

Sounds like you're not actually booting from CD, when it says press any key to boot from CD presumably you are pressing a key? (Sorry if that sounds patronising)

Also you should run ChkDsk, to resolve your issue without re-installing windows. Boot from CD, chose advanced, then command prompt then type " chkdsk /r c: "

Yup it says press any key, i will try the command prompt and get back to you, oh and its worth noting he did have a pirate copy of windows before he bought this win7. Ill get back to you after i chkdsk.

Ok so i tried to reinstall the windows, went to advanced and selected ths SSD to reinstall on, its now gone back to the same screen, "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessable" ive never come across this issue before its very odd.

64bit, ok i typed the ChkDsk in command prompt and got ''windows found no problems'' but it continues to be a pain.

Sorry for the late reply I was up all night trying to sort it. I eventually had to go into bios, disable all his hdd's and boot from the cd rom. I reformatted both his hdd's and done a fresh install. Its a shame but to be honest it worked out for the best his OS was crashing alot anyway. Had it on all night, new drivers nice and organised and its working a dream. Thank you for your replies and help its much appreciated.
