Please Help!!! Windows Installation of new Hard Drive

windows cannot be installed to this disk. this computers hardware may not support booting to this disk ensure that the disks controller is enabled in the computers bios menu

I am getting this error, I already looked up some threads which talked about the same problem, but for some reason I can't still figure it out. I need someone to walk me through it please!

I have a ASRock Extreme 6 Z87 Mobo with updated BIOS and the storage disk Is an HDD

OK, lets get specific on the CPU, the memory, the hard drive brand and model number and capacity... Version of windows. 32 or 64 bit... all of that and more please.
