Solution
Another post in here had the same prob with vlc player. It keeps crashing on exit esp with 64 bit. You may have to wait until they update / fix this
Temps are good, nothing is overclocked and I'm going to be running memtest overnight. Or do you think that is unnecessary?

Thanks for all the answers guys. The other errors happened before I updated my bios. I thought I had fixed it before the VLC error so hopefully it is just an issue with vlc because i do also have the 64 bit version. I'm still going to run the memtest and report my results back here.
