Please help with my computer build.

I have an
Antec 1200 case.
Msi z87 g45 motherboard.
Intel core i7 CPU.
Msi n750ti tf 2gb graphics card.
Corsair hx850 power supply.
Corsair dominator platinum 16gb DDR3 2400 mhz memory.
Bitfenix recon fan speed controller.
Asus 24x DVD burner.
Zalman cnps9900max-b CPU cooler.
Windows 8.1 OS.

Should I get the Seagate barracuda 3TB 7200 rpm sata hard drive (retail kit) or just the bare drive?
Is there a better HDD for the money?

Also, what should I do before powering up for the first time?

And which software should I install first?

Motherboard disc?
Windows?
Graphics card disc?

That build is a complete, 100% waste of money. A (presumably) 4770K with a 750Ti? bad. What is your budget and main uses for this build? Do you need a monitor, OS, keyboard, or mouse?

Ok. So what's my best solution? Recently purchased so I can return it. I haven't finished putting it all together yet so no keyboard, mouse or monitor yet.
