Hey Guys,

I'm planning to do a new PC build as the one i currently have freezes when I'm playing games and doing my day to day things. Below is the build i plan to put together but i am unsure on the CPU to go with based on all the new technology that is coming out (AMD, Intel ect). My current setup has a Samsung 27" monitor and a Samsung 40" TV above that. Typically I'm playing games on the 27" and watching Twitch Streams (i also stream) and Movies on the 40" while playing. Currently doing so my games will freeze while watching streams and movies (I currently use i7 2600k with a EVGA 780TI). I just want to make sure the new PC build i do doesn't have the same issues with freezing.

I've been waiting for the Ryzen to come out and see how the pricing vs quality was. Now that it has come out benchmarks are showing the Intel chips are doing better via gaming. So now my only concern is do i need more cores to do streaming and gaming simultaneously? or will the 4 core 7700k do just fine? Only reason i would go Ryzen is for the 2 extra cores (gaming friends are saying more cores might help). I typically play BF1, League of Legends, R6 Siege and occasionally some MMO's. Any insight and help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! If I'm gaming and streaming at the same time would that cause a heavy multi threading? Also based on benchmarks and reviews would it be better going for the 6800k over the 1700x? Is the 2 extra that much better? Sorry for asking newbie questions.
