[SOLVED] Please help with pc upgrade

Hi. i have a problem please help.

option 1:

Ryzen 5 2600
Msi b450 tomahawk
corsair ddr 4 lpx 3000Mhz ram
samsung 970 evo m.2 ssd


Option 2:

Ryzen 5 2600
Msi x470 gaming plus
gskill flare x 3200 cl14 ddr4
drop m.2 ssd ,use old one 860 evo ,and use saved money for this 200 euro ram



I want to overlock cpu to 4.2 and I dont know i can do this with corsair 3000Mhz ram
Im thinking about x470 mobo because I guess gonna be more ryzen 3000 ready than b450 tomahawk.
Im thinking right or wrong?

Please help me.

by budget is up to 600 euro

Check the mobo's qvl list for
g.skill trident z 3200 16gb
The ram is samsung B dies
It works very good with ryzen's.

I have a friend running that ram running @3400 no voltage increase and had it to 3600.

The x470 would give you better vrm's for the oc.

The crucail ssd's could also save and still perform well.

This ram is not on any of msi QVL list. But price is nice ,and I willing to risk
