Please help with stuttering and frame pacing **newly built rig**

Hi everyone,

I just built my new rig with this spec;

-i5 7600 stock fan cooling
-GTX 1060 6 GB Galax Extreme OC
-MSI H170 gaming m3
-DDR4 Hyper X 8 GB(4x2)
-550 Watts PSU 80+ Bronze
-1 TB SATA WD Blue

Actually, the PSU and The HDD is from my old rig, FYI.

The thing is, I spent around 800 USD for this rig(the prices for these parts in my country are a bit inflated than actual prices in US) but I got stutttering all over the place.

I play GTA V, Batman Akham Knight and Witcher 3 etc. with locked 60 FPS which is nice.

But after a while the games will start stuttering like hell to the point of being unplayable.

I don't know what to do now

really desperate.

If you can help or have any suggestions for me, please help.

What are your temperatures when the stuttering occurs? You can have a program like HWInfo running while running the game and after exiting the program will show the highest temperatures that occurred during the session.
Also, how old is the power supply? Maybe it is failing or overheating.

HW monitor shows the highest temp is at around 55-65C

Which for me is very acceptable and, in my opinion, should noy cause the stuttering.

The PSU is around 2-3 years old though.

When I upgraded my video card to a GTX 1060 6GB last year it worked fine until I went into games, or the Heaven benchmark, when it would go to a black screen requiring a hard reboot. My power supply was only a year or two old but replacing it with a new one fixed the problem completely. I am assuming that the power supply was not capable of providing the required power to the video card.

Well then, how do I identify if it's PSU problem. I need hard proff for what is causing my rig to underperform. I mean, I want to be sure before I decide to buy something to fix this.

By the way I just finished Heaven Benchmark. Here's the score.

I really baffles me that in real world gaming, stuttering happens all the time contradicting the benchmark!

What make and model is your Power Supply? In my case my old unit was a generic one that I had gotten after taking the computer to a repair shop. The only reason I had taken it in was that I had just replaced the power supply and computer wouldn't boot at all. The brand new unit was DOA but I had no way to know that.
