Question Please Help! XMP not working, 3200 MHZ ram running at 2133 MHZ

Hi, I am very new to this and just build my first PC, everything is working fine except for my ram that is running at 2133 MHZ.
When I turn on XMP it takes 1-2 minutes to post but then it is back at 2133 MHZ, what am I supposed to do now?

My specs are:

• 32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHZ CL16
• x570 Aorus elite wifi
• Ryzen 3900x

Can anyone help me with this?

Is the memory in the correct slots?

Put them in A2/B2 & try XMP again.

Thanks for the reply, this was actually the case at first, it was in the wrong slots and XMP didn't work, then I realized I had them in the wrong slots and corrected that but XMP still didn't work. Finally I read somewhere that you have to set the DRAM voltage to 1.35 manually then enable XMP, I did that and finally it worked. I am hoping that is the end of it and it will remain that way and everything will be stable as that was a major headache


EDIT: for anyone reading I am now getting a lot of BSODs after doing this, I will probably revert all changes

Are you on the latest BIOS? For the BIOS to not automatically set the DRAM voltage for the XMP profile is a major bug.

I'm on the august version, the newest one was just released today, should I upgrade? I am getting a lot of BSODs since turning on XMP and setting the DRAM voltage
