hi my boyfriends laptop got stolen today and i'm trying to help him in any way i can to get it back. would it be possible to track it down if i had the serial number? he doesnt know the serial number, he has a mac laptop, would he be able to call the company and get the serial number?

Ask the same question in the Mac forum....I think he can get it remotely wiped...for recovery he needs the Police....

the serial # would help a lot.I would contact pawnshops in your area and also crags list also. Good luck.
