PLEASE HELP!

I purchased the Sims 2 today and when I went to play it a
messaged popped up saying failed to find any directX 9.0
compatable graphic adapters in this system. Please make
sure you have DirectX compatable adapter and installed the
latest drivers provided by manufacturer. Application will
now terminate. So I came to microsoft and downloaded
directx 9.0 and the message still pops up and my computer
says I'm still running directx 4.6. WHAT DO I DO? Please e-
mail me if u know! Thanx.

Hi Amber,

That message would appear if your card is unfortunately
not one of the cards supported by the SIMS 2 game.

For the list of graphic cards supported by SIMS 2:

Here's a couple of ways to identify which video card you
have installed on your computer.

1. Click Start / Run / type: dxdiag
Click the Display Tab
Look under Device for the name and manufacturer

2. Click Start / (Settings) Control Panel
Click Display
Click the Settings Tab
Click the Advanced... button
Click the Adapter Tab
