i would call tech support and ask what upgrade options you have. unfortunatley laptops are not very upgradable so you would be better off with a cheap desktop pc and upgrading the video card.

No you can't. According to HP's website your computer has an Intel Celeron and you are asking if you can put in an AMD CPU the answer is no. You can not put a AMD CPU in an Intel socket.

socket S1 (638) and socket S1 S1G4 look the same and the chip will physically fit, however the voltages are different.....so they are not electrically compatible
