Dear all.
I am having a wired video problem and I really hope that someone here could help me out.
I just got another computer and I don't have a KVM switch. Whenever I need to switch over.I will have to switch over manually. It works ok for the first few times, then one of the computer will restart itself when I plug the VGA cable back in. Sometimes the motherboard won't detect the video card after the "auto-restart". I get no video signal on the monitor but a video troble signal from MB "single long beep and 2 to 3 short beeps." I had to restart the computer, then MB detects the video card and POST.
What should I do ? Could that be a defected video card.
The system spec on the "auto restart" computer is listed below.
Thank you very much for your time and your help will be greatly appreciated.

best regards

You might want to try removing, cleaning carefully the metal edging on the gfx card and trying again. Also try re-seating your memory. Just in case.

PS wattage?

I did reinstall all 3 sticks of RAM, but will try to clean the metal edging on the video cards.
Just wondering if this unplug/plug does actually work ?
what kind of solution do I have ?
Thanks
