Question please i need help (laptop just suddendly has faded black spots on the sides

my screen for my laptop was messed up for a long time. it would sometimes fade to black and i have to close and open again so it will work. now it has permanant black stops on the side.
and yes i tried applying presure into the side

Either replace the LCD backlight, if replaceable, or the display might need to be replaced entirely

its an acer laptop. the scree is completly <Mod Edit> so i might as well try to find some I.T people near my city
