Please list some important things to do after getting a 144Hz G-Sync monitor.

I just bought an Acer Predator XB271HU IPS 2560x1440p. Please let me know the things I should do or I should be aware of.
Note: my graphics card is a GTX 1080.

well connect it to your graphics card , get an fps counter on the corner of the screen and enjoy the extreme fps ?
