I'm really getting frustrated. I posted here trying to figure out my best overclock. I just cant get my machine stable, I'm no where near stable. I'll be playing a game and it reboots. I'm not going for a maximum overclock, I know this thing should be able to get up to 2.6 Ghz easy, but I'm just trying to overclock anywhere from 2.2 to 2.4. I'm just getting no where.

Right now I have my FSB set to 240.
I have the Multiplier at 9 and the LDT at 4.
My voltage is set to 1.35v

I'm at like 2.16 Ghz. My ram is running at 154 Mhz. I'm no where near stable though. So could someone please help give me a base to start on, somewhere to get me stable. Another question, what is the PCIe bus(I think thats what it's listed under in Genie Bios). I have it set to the stock 100Mhz? Is this what I should keep it at. One more question, I have a stock HSF, what kind of temps should I be looking at? Whats the max temp I want to reach(I'd like to make this processor last, I know the hotter it constantly runs, the shorter the life)? Another thing, under CPU-z my cpu code is Toledo (shouldn't it be a Denmark(not really complaining, but...). Please, Please help me.....

BTW, I've read the Overclocking guide, and it's got me this far, I'm just really frustrated at this point.

Anotherthing windos says i only have a 137gb hardrive???? help! please

K, well I got it to 2.43 Ghz.

i do have a couple more ?'s though.

Is 33C pretty good idle temp, and 42C, pretty good for load?

Also, I used 3dmarck2001 and got a score of 22921, is that pretty good? Are there any other really good benchmark tests I can use?

I still can not get this thing stable to save my life... When trying to download a torrent with azureus, or play sim city 4 it restarts?!

I've tried everything... I have it oc'd to 2.52 right now... 280FSB, 3xLDT, 9xmultiplier..... My Vcore is 1.425.... What am I doing wrong?? Do I need to mess witht he LDT vcore????? PLease help???? Is there any kind of windows driver that I need to download since it's a 64bit processor?? I've been thinking about buying Windows xp 64.... hmm???

1. Yea, what's your Motherboard?

2. Your overclock will heavily depend on the motherboard, please post it

3. There are 2 bus's in PCI-E, one for the actual PCI-E Bus (Runs @ 2500MHz) and the Card (Runs @ 100MHz). There is no point to overclocking the PCI-E 100MHz Bus because it doesn't increase performance enough (if at all) to matter

4. CPU-Z reads all Denmarks as Toledo's, they're basically the same core but Denmark is redefined and the CPU-Z maker is either too lazy or not good enough to decipher the 2

5. Windows w/o Service Pack 1 will only see 137GB (Some people say you need Service Pack 2, but that's because they're stupid) of any Hard Drive.

6. For other benchmarks, you can use: 3DMARK 05/06, SiSoftware Sandra, Everest, SuperPI, and get a program called "Prime95", it will help you in testing stability of RAM and CPU.

7. Try to maintain a <45c Full Load temperature @ any clock setting (Some people say 85c+ is okay, but I severely disagree)

Please repost with more information.
