Please help me I got an issue. Whenever my homephone goes on my internet doesnt work. Everytime when my grandpa comes home he talks for like half and hour and once that phone turns on and he starts typing numbers the speed goes from 150mb to 5mb. I found out that it isn't a wireless interference by moving the wireless router to another place.
Information about my internet:
Service: Crappy iTalkBB
Modem: TP-Link ADSL+2 Ethernet/USB Modem router
WIreless router( I connect that one to the modem above for wireless access ) TP-Link 300M Wireless N Gigabit Router
The internet and phone both go into the same outlet( the outlet has 2 phone ports ) and I found out it is PPPoe internet

If it's a cordless phone in the 2.4GHz band then it's most definitely RF interference. Cordless phones, microwave ovens, baby monitors, just to name a few all share the same band with your access point.

My phone is on the other side of the room and the wireless modem is near the ceiling of the room far from the phone

Doesn't matter. If they're in the same band there will be interference.

So what can I do? That is the only place where the outlet works

You have two solutions:

1. Replace the phone with a 5GHz phone.
2. Replace your 2GHz wireless gear with dual-band and don't use the 2GHz channels.

Of course option 2 would require that all of your wireless devices support 5GHz operation.
