Question PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP (Microsoft update)

Since I got a Microsoft update I can not print anything. Before it was a simple procedure of File -> Print.
Now it asks me to set up a Microsoft account or use an existing one. Don’t have one so I created one. Now it asks me what I want one note to do with this document.

Now my start menu has changed. Gone are my links to photoshop and word/excel templates to be replaced with Xbox games, news and weather.

My PC does not recognise my mobile phone so I have to go to control panel -> auto run and set everything to ask in order to set the devises again.

Went to a Microsoft windows forum only to get snotty comments like it is okay for me. So please how do I get my documents to print again.

It seems to me that this latest Windows update has caused people an awful lot of problems.

....as far as your printing issue....
I would go and check what the default printer is.
My guess is that the update changed it.

Okay got it thanks. I can print now but why does a Microsoft update remove your nice customized start menu and replace it with xbox games.

Would it be nice if there was a good competitor to Microsoft. The world is held to ransom by this giant american company.

1903 changed the start menu around but I didn't notice any changes like you mention - https://www.windowscentral.com/whats-new-start-menu-windows-10-may-2019-update

I did look but I can't see any mention of updates changing start menu like you describe.
