Hi guys I'm doing a build and I keep getting this message "Please power down and connect the PCIe power cable for this graphics card. When the cable is actually already in.
Earlier I took out the video card and my system turned on fine. Then I reinstalled the card again and same error message came up.
Every time I boot up the video card fan starts for five seconds and then it shuts off.
I think it might be my psu being defected and not supplying enough power to the card?
All parts is brand new.
I'm currently running:
Ballistix 8gb kit ram
Asus m5a78l-musb3 mobo
Evga 500w 80plus psu
Evga gtx 960 sc video card
Seagate 1tb hard drive
Amd fx 6 core black edition processor
I'll appreciate any info on this problem thanks.
