Please rate my budget pc specs

Having finally decided to upgrade from my old Xbox 360, I decided to move to pc gaming as all of my friends are playing games such as dota and csgo. I have been playing on a family laptop and decided to get a pc for my 16th birthday. (yes I am only a kid but I have had a Saturday job for 2 years now and have a slow but steady income from that. I also believe myself to be sensible enough to embark on such a measure of responsibility as to building a pc and being careful online, to end any arguments)

Having done hours of research i have come to the conclusion that the specs of my pc will be as follows:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 6 core @3.5Ghz
MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
RAM: 8gb Kingston hyper fury X @1866Mhz (2x4gb)
GPU: EVGA GTX 750ti 2gb superclocked
version
PSU: EVGA 500watt 8+bronze
Case: Zalman Z3+ White
Storage: Seagate barracuda 1tb 750rpm HDD & Samsung 850 evo 120gb SSD
Optical drive: the cheapest one I could find that supports SATA as it will only be used for installing windows and drivers
OS: windows 7,8 or 10 (haven't decided yet)
Peripherals: standard BenQ monitor (HDMI) and Microsoft mouse and keyboard (USB wired). I have a headset from my console days.

Please could you look at these specs and give some constructive feedback on them. Pros and cons are appreciated.

All of this totals around £600 (€822, $924) inc shipping costs. Anything under that is great if you wish to advise on your own system builds.

Furthermore some estimates on performance in games such as dota2, csgo, minecraft and cod. At the moment I am only looking to game and do basic office work however in the future I would hope to do YouTube, so that would involve video editing and rendering, aswell as steaming. For this could you please suggest some rough upgrade boundaries and guidelines please.

Looks pretty solid. However, do all of us a favor and build your PC using the site linked below. Also provide us your budget, and we will do our best to get you the best gaming machine for your money.

no you can do much better. for example a x5677 xeon and a t3500 motherboard has a higher single core performance, multi core performance, and it will cost less. what is your budget? i would also recommend 3 sticks of G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB if you go with this setup. the t3500 mobo has 6 slots for ram and it runs best in sets of 3. this would also save you money. so you could probably get a better gpu because the ti 750 is a little weak of a card.

My budget is listed in their. Around £600 ($924, €822) for everything inc os, monitor, mouse and keyboard and shipping.

Oh and I did use the website linked but please feel free to come up with your own system. Any feedback helps :)

I would not use a XEON chip for gaming. They are over priced and are produced strickly for professional and business purposes. Meaning they have locked everything and are built for longevity, not performance. Not sure why anyone woudl suggest XEON for a budget build.

alot of xeons are just i7's that are locked and dont have integrated graphics. the x5677 is a 3.46 ghz chip that is FAR from slow and you can get them for $60 a chip. i actually have a computer running that chip and it games VARY well.

The only thing I would say is that it does not include windows so that would be another £70 on top. I might have a way to get windows free though so..., fantastic build overall though thanks

if you would like to save some you could buy some components used. buying a used cpu works pretty well and could save you a bit
