I am getting ready to buy my first LCD and really need help, the choices are many and I need your experiance opinions.

My budget is around $200-$300, this will be connected to an ATI X1800GTO in a Core2 system.

Heavy Gaming, moderate work.

I have read many posts here and on othet sites and many reviews I could find, but I am still a bit confused as to what is good and not so good.

Thanks for your time.

Yes yes the VX 922, I was a bit worried about the shear performance of this screen, worrying that it wouldn't handle photos, word processors etc, but it does everything great in my opinion. Granted I mostly use it for gaming but it handles everything great. I absolutly love this monitor. May not be for everyone but atleast check it out.

Strongly seconded, I LOVE my VX922.
