Please reset cpu or memory in cmos

I had to replace the CPU battery yesterday and now I am getting warnings that the CPU has changed and to re enter in CMOS setup. I don't know how to do this I am not very IT savvy.

What make and model of MB do you have?

I don't understand, what is an MB. My computer is a desk top almost ten years old. Since I replaced the motherboard battery it starts up in MSDos and gives the warning " the CPU has changed re enter in CMOS setting. I hope this can help with an answer for me.
