Hello Guys,

I am thinking of following configuration for my new rig. Please suggest your thoughts, and if you have any advice to give.

Budget: Not much Issue


CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 288 Pin 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Primary Storage - SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Secondary Storage 1 - HDD: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 4TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (WD4003FZEX)
Secondary Storage 2 - HDD: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 4TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (WD4003FZEX)
Graphics Card: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
Cabinet: Corsair 750D Airflow Edition
Power Supply: Corsair 850W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (Hx850i)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Wired Network Adapter: Intel EXPI9301CTBLK 10/100/1000 Mbps PCI-Express x1 Network Adapter (Gigabit)

Hi, for gpu I would suggest r9 390 (Sapphire or Asus) in this price tag, or get the 980 if you can.
You don't need 850W, good 750W is enough, I would suggest Evga Supernova 750W, if you want 850W go for Evga Supernova too, but 850W edition ... don't get Corsair ...
For cooler I would get Corsair H110i over Noctua, but they are pretty the same quality

Anyway that build is amazing ;)

I would primarily be using this for work, creating and running multiple VM's in mini-lab way. Will also be gaming moderately in my free time. Will also be programming on this.
