Hello everyone, I'm looking for some guidance on upgrading my current built gaming pc. Got a mate to help build it just over 3 years ago as I was quite unaware and to be honest still don't grasp everything.
Build is:

Cpu: Intel I7 8700k
Cpu cooler: Nzxt kraken x60 98.3 CFM Liquid cooler **
Motherboard: Gigabyte z370 Aorus gaming 5
Memory: Cosair - vengeance 16gb (2x8) DDR4 3200
Storage: Samsung SSD 840 evo 250gb **
Graphics card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1080 TI 11gb Aorus extreme edition
Case: NZXT H440 ATX mid tower **
Power supply: Corsair RM 750w 80+ gold cert **

Ive put 2 stars next to each part I already own and planned on keeping in the upgrade.
Thank you everyone for your help =)

Edit** I have about $2500 to spend could push to $3000
Not buying soon, most likely in a month or two

One small tip. If for storage, you can only afford a 250 gb SSD, you’re going to run out of storage sooner than expected. Unless there’s an old hard drive you can take from an older Pc, maybe consider a 120 gb SSD and a 500gb or possibly 1 TB Hdd? Tb would be nice, but I’m doing ok with 120 and 500.

As glorious as it may be...you may want to hold off the upgrade until a later date. If you haven’t already checked, GPU prices are insane right now and RAM prices are somewhat higher. (Blame cryptominers). If for some reason you feel like splurging extra cash, that’s practically a top notch build.

1 thing that does not fit is 840 evo. If you still have chance 850 or 860 might be a better choice.
difference is not very big, still its something.
