Im new to this website, so apologies if this thread is not in the correct place.

I want to build a Gaming/SonyVegas Desktop which will run games like Battlefield and Total War 60FPS High-Ultra settings.

Here is the build from PC Part Picker:

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/dVZ9HN

I was planning an Intel build, but the recent GPU Shortage has forced me to make ammendments.

Only thing I would change is the WD to a crucial mx300 275GB. Crucial makes the most reliable SSD plus its 25GB's more for a 1 less.

Hi Elbert. While it was about a month or so ago, I think the Crucial 275gb was my original choice but it went out of stock, forcing me to find an alternative. It has been quite a while now so I'll check the online store when I next get the chance. Thanks!

It is completely possible that I can upgrade to a 1700 in the future?

When it comes to CPU...I'd just get the one you want...not a placement holder until then. The 1700 is an awesome CPU and at time I think I should have gone that route...although my build is only for gaming, not editing.
