Hello I am planning on building a New PC, I have chosen some parts and I want to know if I made good choices.
My intention is to make a reasonably Powerful Gaming PC that will last me a good while until a Next upgrade.

PC Parts:

Motherboard + CPU : Gigabyte Z590 VIZION G + I7 11700K - $819

CPU Cooler: Deepcool Assassin III - $129

Graphics Card: RTX 3070 (Already Have)

Power Supply: Super Flower Leadez III 850W - $169

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600mhz 32GB (2x16GB) - $239

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow - $129

Prices are in AUD.

What cooler are you going to use with your CPU?
Motherboard looks nice, it's one of those that has a good white finish.
PSU is also a solid choice, according to reviews
As well as nice choice of case for air cooling

Can't say anything bad about the build.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600mhz 32GB (2x16GB) - $239

Edit: On 2nd thought though, checking if your RAM (CMW32GX4M2D3600C18) is compatible
It's not on the QVL List
It's advisable to always get RAM from the QVL list to avoid any failure to post issues.

Thanks mate, I was recommend CPU Cooler: Deepcool Asssassin III - $129. I will be going with this.

A reasonable build, perhaps.

My reading says the cooler is for lga2066:
https://www.newegg.com/deepcool-gamer-storm-assassin-iii/p/13C-002K-000H4
You would want one for lga1200.
I like the noctua NH-D15s if it is available to you.

But, with the launch of alder lake, see if you can't buy a i5-12600K.
The price should be comparable to the 11700K and the performance is superior.
Read the reviews.
Look for a Z690 motherboard with DDR4 support; they are cheaper.
Early tests show no real difference using DDR4 vs. DDR5.

Love it.
The MSI Z690 PRO motherboard comes on both DDR4 and DDR5 flavors.
Ram must match; check that.
DDR4 setup will be more reasonably priced.
Thanks Mate,

I have ordered this new set-up. Do you think this will be a good powerful PC or just average? Also what resolution monitor do you recommend this hardware should use ?

it is as good as it gets in my opinion.
Of course, opinions vary.
Cpu and gpu capabilities are balanced, and it has quality parts.

If you can, see some monitors in person.
I would look for a larger 34" 1440P monitor.

I have a 3070 and use a LG OLED 48" 4k TV.
It can refresh at 120hz which is fine by me. I am more of a civilization player.

Do you think it would be able to run 4K. I know it won't be ultra setting though.

Right now I will be playing on 1080p. I don't plan on buying on buying another monitor as of now. Maybe End of Year sales I'll pick up a 1440p or 4K monitor.

I know it will run 4k, and, at ultra settings, at least mine does.
The question will be for fast action games, at what fps.
For slower games like MMO, strategy and sims, you will have no problem.

Plan on keeping your 1080P monitor as a side monitor for email, monitors and such.

Yeah that's exactly my plan. Ive always wanted dual monitors. So when I upgrade I will have the 1440 or 4k for gaming and the other one for other use
