'Please select boot device'...which one?

My options are:

ST31000528AS
WDC WD5000AZRX-00A8LB0
ATAPI iHAS324 C
Realtek PXE B02 D00

Which one should I pick?

P.S. I'm on a HP with Windows 7.
One extra HD installed inside.

If you have a flash drive plugged in try pulling it out before rebooting.

The first is a Seagate drive, The second is a Western Digital. Select the one that has the operating system.

WD or ST31000528AS I would assume. Try them both. You will have to setup BIOS boot priority when you find the right one.

Do as Archaic59 suggests. After that you will know which HDD contains the OS. Then restarrt the computer and rapidly depress the F8 (or suitable key) to get into the BIOS. Once you are in the BIOS set the HDD which has the OS as the first boot device.

(When you do all this ensure that there is no DVD in the optical drive and no flash drives plugged into the USB ports).

After this "Save & Exit" the BIOS.

the first two [ST and WDC] are your hard drives

wdc=western digital
select the one that contains your operating system to start up
next time you boot up go to bios by continuously pressing the correct key as mentioned in the flash screen that appears when you boot up and change the bios setting to start up from the hard drive that contains the os by default [ie. make that hard drive its first priority] and probably make the dvd drive its second priority [atapi.......]
