Please suggest a compatible motherboard for Intel core i7 3770k 3.5GHz processor

Hi,

I had been using a Gigabyte GA-Z77x-UD5H-WB motherboard along with Intel Core i7 3770k 3.5GHz LGA 1155 socket processor and Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8GBx2 1600 MHz

The system has been failing miserably the past one year, becoming non-responsive and/or continuously self-restarting, with occasional blue screen memory dumps. My work involves music and video production, so requires heavy processing power and stability of the setup. I'm considering to replace the motherboard, possibly to an upgraded and recent one. Any suggestions are welcome.

To replace the board you either going to buy used or a referb.
The 1155 boards are no longer made.

Before you do that, what's the make/model of the psu?

Have you tried a clean windows install? Tried running one stick of ram at a time? Did the sticks come as a matched set or individually?

Hi, the psu is Corsair VS650 650W Power Supply.

I have tried clean windows install many times, but the system ends up slowing down within a few hours.

The sticks came as a matched set. I still think the motherboard is the issue. Anyone can throw light on what else could it be?

The only good 1155 socket motherboard available in the market currently, is the one I had bought earlier. I may repurchase the same thing if I have enough information to know it would work, and wouldn't turn out to be a waste of money!
