Hi all.

What brand makes the best inkjets (for what I described below)?

I'm looking for a premium all in one inkjet printer. Looking to have this:

printer, scanner, copier, fax.
not picking about paper - handles paper well is more important than fast printing.
Wifi wireless , not phyically connected to anything but the power outlet.
two way paper feeding - high capactity bottom tray and single feed on top.
automatic duplex printing
photo color printing
relatively high capacity ink cartridges.
etc.

Any ideas or see any problems?
thanks!

In my experience, on the business models, HP is very very good. Although all-in-ones are not nearly as reliable as standalone models for everything. For basic InkJets, HP would not be my top pick, Epson or Canon probably, although HP may be 2nd or 3rd.

If you look around, and a color laser all in one will fit your budged, they are historically more reliable than inkjets. Make sure you look in the business range though, not the regular consumer models. Although usually more expensive, the business models use stronger parts and more robust engineering. Speaking in general terms though, you could end up with a dud, or the vendor may want to skimp on something in a model you pick, overall, business Laser printers are way more...

Ok.

I'll take your advice and look for a Business color laser. I'm sure things have changed a lot since color laser printers cost as much as new cars. I'm guessing any HP or Canon are good brands for business color laser printers.
I also heard laser printer toner last much longer than ink - so the cost per page is actually lower.

Correct about the ink costs for a laser, although the toner is quite a bit more expensive up front, at the end it's cheaper per page by quite a bit.
