Question Please suggest a SolidWorks build with no budget cap.

With no budget limit in mind, what are the absolute best parts I can get to go around the new Threadripper 3970x?

Also, I want to do an Intel build side-by-side with it for comparison sake and probably sell one of them after I play with them. I know AMD is ahead in processors right now but I still want to compare them where they stand.

I am VERY confused about design-specific GPUs. I just did a build with a 2920x and an RX 5700 XT that worked great with Solidworks. Why do design-specific GPUs exist if non design-specific GPUs can be used efficiently?
