Hello!!

I am from india and i want to build a custom gaming rig, but i am not sure about the components which i should use.
So, can you guys help me out by suggesting me a pc within the range of Rs.40,000
Thank you

Solution
40K INR is too less for a good gaming PC. Here is a suggested config that only consider prices from Amazon India. But look on other sites(primeabgb, theitdepot, mdcomputers) or retail stores for lesser pricing.

CPU: Intel Core i3-4160 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor (₹8427.00 @ Amazon India)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (₹8100.00 @ Amazon India)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (₹1500.00 @ Amazon India)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (₹3810.00 @ Amazon India)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card (₹8799.00 @ Amazon India)
Case: Cooler Master...

So his budget, assuming I got his local currency correct, is just about 597 USD.

I would also ask what you plan on playing. Do you already have keyboards and / or a monitor? Will you need a copy of Windows?

720p would be good for me

In India Amazon.in prices are significantly higher than local dealers, so you would have to go in person to check the prices.

For the monitor, get a 17 or 19inch 1280x720 or 1366x768 resolution, 5ms TN panel.
For the processor, get an i5 2400, a cheap motherboard to go with it and 8Gb 1333Mhz ram.
For storage, pick up a 320GB Seagate HDD.
For psu buy a brand new Corsair CX psu, a 450w or 500w should be fine.
Get any cheap case with atleast 1 3.0 Usb port and pre installed fan.
For the graphics card, get a used or if you can afford it a brand new GTX 950.

SEASONIC S12II-430 ₹4,750

Solution

That used CPU doesn't come with a cooler. That i5 is definitely better than the i3 i suggested but its a refurbished one and will have trust issues.
PSU isn't great. Definitely get the one i suggested. Or if you could find Seasonic SSR-430ST
You can get better RAM for almost the same price.
Also look for prices on other sites. primeabgb, theitdepot, mdcomputers

ok
finalised,,I will buy the pc components which you gave.... the only change i am going to make is in the gpu.. i will buy the gtx 950 in place of gtx 750ti...

Thanks....for your help :)

But do tell us your final build and where you are buying from. People usually end up buying something else which is a lot worse than suggested. Are you going to buy it from amazon only? Because you will get much better prices from those 3 other sites. I only used amazon links cause searching is easier.
