Name them after planets, mythology names, etc

typically you would just name it something which has to do with what you put on it. eg... "games", "backup", "movies" or "windows"

giving the drives fancy names that doesnt have anything to do with what is on them doesnt really serve a point as it just can get confusing later on.

as far as my computer name i did get a bit creative. here are a few i've used...

-hal (from 2001 a space oddessy)
-father (from alien ressurection)
