I would love to see SSDs bigger than 4TB tracked in the SSD Price Index.

I tried adding this comment on the forum thread for that article, but it is dated "Oct 11, 2023" and labelled "Not open for further replies."

This Nov 1, 2024 article is the first time I have seen an 8TB under $100/TB. Finally!

I hope >4TB SSDs becomes a mainstream option. The mainstream seems stuck at max 4TB for many years. I would love it if the SSD Price Index gave us more more visibility for >4TB SSD pricing.

I bought a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB on Black Friday 2023. I love it, but I am looking to add a second, larger SSD. Bigger than 4TB is a requirement. I could go with HDD, but I prefer SSD.
