I have a plextor 16x10x40a
and I can't get it to burn @ 16X 8x is all I can get out of it
reading takes place @ a poor 11.3X
now I read the other post on the 16x10x40 and tried it
but it doesn't help
my system should be up to it
it's a p3 800 on a asus cux4x-e
it's running win2k server with 256mb 133 sdram
and has a ata66 hdd
the cd-r is the second master
I also have a plextor 8x2x20 scsi
and it's faster in virtualy every aspect
(yes, it's also in the system)
the system is purely to write cd's and as backup when my
t-bird 1ghz is down
so nothing is running @ the same time while writing cd's
please help me
