Am aiming to put together a budget desktop for (mostly) video conversions/photo editing (not photoshop -- just family stuff). I tend to hold on to computers for 5-6 years, so would like it to last. No gaming (if I can keep the kids off it). Am upgrading from a largish loud tower; have ssd hard drive & peripherals; hoping to achieve quiet and smallish. Windows 7 64-bit.
[Thanks to all a few weeks ago who advised for a budget build; I've allowed myself a bit more $$ and decided to emphasize "quiet"...]

Any glaring issues with this proposed build?

I'm torn between these 2 cases (I don't need lights or a "gaming" case, but the first one looks very efficient to work with -- any experience out there with either one?)

I've never worked with cases this small, so am not sure if all the parts will fit -- or if I should buy any replacement/additional quiet fans... Would appreciate any advice! Thank you. Monica

Thank you TechyInAZ -- sorry for the confusion.

Budget -- am already over that; was initially shooting for <$400 (was going to go with i3 and not picky about size/sound) but had second thoughts. Now I'd like to keep it less than $500. I really want this build to be quiet. Longevity is key also -- figured the i5 would probably be a worthy upgrade. Unless I'm missing something and am spending way too much on the wrong parts I think an i7 is out of the question. I'm not sure about justifying the $$ for the other parts -- was going by reviews... It looked like I had better options for a quiet machine going Intel vs AMD (seemed to have better potential to run cooler therefore quieter?) -- not sure that's accurate either. Would appreciate any input...

Here's an attempt at a pcpartpicker list -- I've included 2 cases [the Sentey is at amazon and I'm having trouble pulling it up on pcpartpicker and trouble including the link) -- and I already bought the power supply (listed).

Thanks again.
