I got a gpu which is an
XFX r7700 ghost series
And a psu that is an ace 500w output but doesn't have a 6 pin connecter for my graphics card I ordered an adapter that has 2 molex inserts and 1 6 pin exit to plug into a gpu but i don't k ow how many molex cable do I need to plug into the adapter 1 or 2 a simple answer would be greatly appreciated thanks

A 750W that doesn't have at least a 6 pin PCIE cable, has to be a piece of junk. Don't use it.

I've used it for a good amount of time now and it worked great for me I would've got a new one but I don't have any sort of money spare to get a new one so I just want to know will 1 molex be alright or shall I go straight to connecting 2

What exact model is the PSU? However, to answer your question, connect both molex.

It's not a 750w it's 500w output mixed up numbers from a psu I was looking at

Adapters are a bad idea , hard to believe a 750w with no PCIE.

Even a 500w should have a 6 pin PCIE cable , unless it's very poor quality.

I understand the budget issues , good luck with the card and PSU. Replace as soon as you can.

Certainly not with XFX 7700 (this requires a good quality 450W PSU).
Don't use it. You risk damaging your hardware..

Here's your PSU , YOU REALLY NEED TO REPLACE IT , quality is bottom of the barrel.

It is mislabeled 250W PSU.
12V rail is the important one. GPU, CPU and HDDs all feed from it.
12V * 18A = 216W

When this blows up and kills entire pc, then even less budget will be available.

Believe us it's not a 500w , much much less than that. It only has 18 amps on the 12v rail = USELESS and shouldn't be running any PC.

I run my pc perfectly fine i used this psu for a different computer before
