Hey guys, apologies if this is in the wrong section but I'm new here. I got a perixx px-1100 gaming keyboard which for some reason is not working properly. It works if I load up my bios but stops working once windows loads. I tried uninstalling my serial bus controllers and having windows reinstall them automatically on reboot but that caused me to lose all my usb ports until I mmanaged to do an image restore. Oddly enough, after the restore the keyboard worked on boot until windows decided to try to look for drivers for the keyboard and when it couldn't find any, the keyboard stopped working again. As a side note, the keyboard is still getting power to it because it is lit up but they keys do not work. Also, because it is plug and play it does not actually have any drivers associated with it. Right now, it is listed as a usb keyboard in my device manager and has an error saying that no drivers were found. Side note, I'm using aan crosshair v formula - z mobo

Solution
The BIOS drivers (if you can call them that) are different than the OS drivers. It's mandatory for Windows to have to find and install drivers before the device will function in Windows.
