[SOLVED] Plug wires

Hi, the pc shuts down or won't be on unless I move these wires with my hand. This issue came after I had to take it to a shop for a microphone issue. How to fix this constant shut down issue, because every time BIOS gets reset when those wires move.

Sounds like the tech yanked a wire or two out of the plug housing when they unplugged the 24 pin cable for service (that cable can get REALLY tight in the mobo header). There's ways to fix it, but honestly, you might want to consider a new PSU.

I agree get a new PSU and a new battery for the board.

If BIOS resets and can't retaing configuration every time the power is cut the CMOS battery is probably dead.

@Satan-IR I had a new PSU but I already sent it to my brother so he can sell it on eBay.
I will save some for a new PC build, here people are always waiting to rob their customers.

Your brother is selling the old psu with wires pulled out of the 24pin plug!?

This is e-waste, not a resale opportunity.

@tennis2 Hey, my brother is selling the new PSU which I didn't use, not this current PSU which is damaged. I am always short on money but I never rob money from people.
